Packaging

Antec ships the ISK110 VESA in a simple, brown cardboard box. A drawn image on the top shows you what the chassis looks like, while the table on the side lets you know simple things like quantity, weight, and dimensions of the chassis. It would have been nice to have a slightly more informative package, especially since ITX enclosures are generally not as clear cut as traditional ATX variants in terms of compatibility.

You will receive a bag of screws and two strips of insulating tape, so you don't need to worry about shorting the hard drives on the metal frame. There is also the ATX cable tree that comes with a single Molex, a P4 CPU plug, two SATA and a 24 pin ATX connector. A manual has also been included to help you during the assembly process.


Antec also ships a base unit for use on your desk along with a metal VESA 100 mount. This allows you to attach the ISK110 VESA to the back of a monitor, which is one of the major additions to the ISK 100.


The chassis also includes a converter within the case itself, but the power brick that supplies the juice is nothing out of the ordinary. It is neither too big nor incredibly small and can deliver up to 90W, which should be enough, even if you use the most powerful components possible. Antec also includes a UK and Euro 8 plug for use with the external unit.
