Assembly
Installing the motherboard is done by traditional means, with spacers and included screws. As you can see in the first picture, the GPU sags slightly but should still fit even if you have air cooling on the side of the chassis. Installing the sturdy GPU bracket really works well in preventing the GPU from sagging.
Adding SSDs requires you to take off the metal plates to secure the drive using screws as well. Once in place, simply put the plate back in place and tighten the thumb screw to pin it down.
The 3.5" drives rest on rubber rings within the trays and require special screws to secure. Once installed, you may slide the whole contraction back into the ceiling of the P120 Crystal and use the two big thumb screw to keep it there.
The PSU installation method follows the same principle as you have to install the frame to it first and then may slide it back into place. Thanks to the ample space you can easily hide all the extra leads nicely with the well placed openings allowing you to keep things clean in the process.
As you can see, the interior of the P!20 Crystal looks spiffy with all the wires disappearing from view. Thanks to the support bracket, the GPU is nice and straight and due to the Velcro strips you can keep the wires out of sight.
Finished Looks
With everything in place, the Antec P120 Crystal looks super clean and spiffy when turned on. At this point one thing becomes very apparent: the chassis doesn't come with any fans. The same holds true for enclosures like the Lian Li O series for example. These type of enclosures are clearly geared towards users who rather install fans and cooling specific to their own wants and needs instead of paying for some that will not be useful. The white LEDs around the USB ports will be quite useful in finding the plugs to connect a device or cable to.
You can clearly see the RGB equipped memory from ADATA looking through the front of the chassis, while all the hardware is visible through the main side of the enclosure. In the rear, the layout brings back memories of the 1990s when PSUs were always located in the ceiling of system. All the parts are still easily accessible nonetheless.
