The Vernazza Soft Fabric chair can be used in a gaming environment or your home or professional office. The fabric upholstery is a fine choice for a company used to manufacturing gaming chairs with sharp design lines and color combinations mainly based on the powerful designs of motor-sport bucket seats. Details always define such products, and the most interesting detail here is the single-colored fabric upholstery.
That having been said, there is more to this Vernazza model as the stitching is immaculate, and its black color matches the design aesthetic well. There are four different colors to choose from (Grey, Blue, Ash Grey, and Dark Grey), and all color variants go for the same price. The Vernazza additionally has a gas lift for more height overall than is usually the case, and is wide and sturdy enough with its full metal frame and aluminium five-star base to comfortably seat anyone of up to 145 kg (319.67 lbs). Both the backrest and seat's base have enough high-density foam to classify as soft, which I prefer the most. However, only time and use will tell whether the Vernazza will maintain its original shape.
The ergonomics are those typically found on gaming chairs, but with slight differences. The backrest reclines at up to to 165 degrees, which is more than most chairs and great for a relaxing break during a gaming session or work. The rocking mechanism works well both ways, making it easy to use even if you are on the lower side in terms of weight.
With most household furniture covered in fabric upholstery, the upholstery is probably familiar to most, and it is a sound choice for good reasons. For starters, it does not produce the scrubbing noise of PU when it comes in contact with naked skin. However, the fabric upholstery, when used on a daily basis, is prone to collect grease and stains more readily than a PU pleather or real leather upholstery, which means you should clean it frequently if you don't want it to look bad. Another thing I didn't like so much are the 3D armrests, given the price tag and overall build quality. With such high build quality and attention to detail, it is a pity the Vernazza does not to have 4D armrests. What's more, I would like slightly softer neck and lumbar-support cushions. However, this chair was built to comfortably seat users larger than those who tried the Vernazza out for this review, which makes this a rather subjective opinion.
When it comes upholstery types, a stretchy mesh is the best material for a chair meant to be used for longer sessions at a time. Since Arozzi has plenty of accessories, an additional metal frame that at least supports a mesh-based pillow could be offered as an optional purchase, as mesh automatically adjusts to any shape, neck or otherwise, for the necessary support.
