ASRock has included a fairly extensive BIOS on the B450 Gaming-ITX/ac, a seemingly continual trend with several brands these days that are offering far more than they need to for most users, sometimes making navigation through said BIOS rather difficult. ASRock, however, manages this problem with great care and makes it pretty easy to find what you need with most of the uncommon options cleverly hidden behind menu after menu after agreement after agreement... you read that right! To access many of the more *ahem* "touchy" options, you'll find a warning screen, and will find yourself having to agree to possibly damaging your system if you change the wrong option... what wonderful things that can scare away the unknowing and timid!
Memory capabilities and support are darn good if I do say so myself, with support for RGB memory setting changes from right within the BIOS even. The inclusion of ASRock's Polychrome RGB makes this BIOS pretty much ready for the latest in memory products to have just recently hit store shelves with support for board-level RGB controls, made by many many memory brands these days, and even more now since many companies have branched out recently into the memory business.
For a board like this—one so tiny and with a chipset that isn't the main enthusiast-focused one—to have such capabilities is pretty crazy to me. I guess I've spent too much time playing with either really capable Intel boards or boards that are locked up tight, whereas this board, and this BIOS, are pretty capable things that should meet the needs of of gamers—this board's target audience.
