ASRock B450 Gaming-ITX/ac Review

Board Software

The usual suspects all appear in the software package ASRock provides for the B450 Gaming-ITX/ac. The first of which, of course, is ASRock's App Shop software, one that will provide you with some additional software as well as updates to the software provided on the disk, along with your board's drivers and its BIOS. You also get a PDF version of your manual placed on the desktop so you can peruse it at your leisure.

New this time around is the RGB control software, which has now been updated and is now called Polychrome RGB. Polychrime RGB breaks down the controls offered into two different pages accessed by clicking the tab at the top. I made sure to make use of some DIMMs that claim to have support with ASRock's Polychrome RGB software and hardware capabilities, and I was pleasantly amazed to see it all work perfectly without any issues at all.

You can also download AMD's Ryzen Master Tool, a pretty useful bit of code for adjusting hardware settings and saving those settings for on-the-fly or on-the-reboot profile changes based on your own personal choices. It's a great tool for preliminary overclock testing too, and once you've found stable settings, you can manually transfer them to the BIOS.
