SSD Temperatures

We could only test our PCIe Gen 5 SSD in the top slot here since it's the only one that offers greater than PCIe Gen 4 support. As we mentioned earlier, getting the heatsink back on proved a little tricky and needed a fair amount of force to get it to click into place. However, this seems to provide excellent contact between the heatsink and SSD as the temperature was exceptional at just 66°C and a vast improvement over the 78°C of the ASUS ROG Strix B860-A Gaming Wi-Fi. Our PCIe Gen 4 SSD hit 50°C in both lower and upper heatsinks so it doesn't really matter where you install it.
