Introduction

Personally, I have a penchant for gaming products. I kind of feel that is quite natural since I primarily use my own PCs to game, and I am sure there are millions of other PC users who can easily say the same. For those of us who take those tendencies to the extreme, gaming has become a career. The original pro gamer, of course, is none other than Fatal1ty, and so it makes a lot of sense that ASRock has a well-established relationship and co-branding with Fatal1ty, and today, we have the most recent incarnation of those links to the past with us, the ASRock Fatal1ty Z170 GAMING K6+.

While not everyone likes this branding from ASRock, having had many Fatal1ty products to test in the past, I feel quite confident in what these products offer. It is clear that there is a focus on gaming, but not just any gaming. The real focus is on pro gamers and their needs. The result is good audio and LAN support and a focus on reliability and a bit of overclocking. Being in the middle of a match and having your PC crash because it isn't stable simply can't happen.

The ultimate test as to whether these products do as they should is easily done when it comes to gaming—you simply give a pro team your products and have them beat on these before taking the feedback they provide to improve them until they become the best there is, and ASRock has done exactly that with the Fatal1ty Z170 GAMING K6+.
