Storage Performance
USB 3.1 support on the ASRock Z270 Extreme4 is provided by an ASMedia controller, the ASM2142. Most of the other ports are provided by the Intel Z270 chipset, although there is also an ASMedia ASM1074 hub somewhere in that mix for the "normal" USB 3.0 ports.
