Fan Control and Options

Fan speed is controlled by temperature, actual minimums dependent on fan ability.


Fan control options on the ASRock Z270 Extreme4 are available for all five fan headers. There are a couple headers with ready support for water pumps, equipped with 1.5A power support as compared to the 1.0A most fan headers carry. There is a tuning utility within the BIOS, so you can tune each port directly to the fan it is plugged into it, which gives you the best control options possible no matter what fans you have. You also have the option of tuning each already available speed profile - there are five - to match your fans, should you simply want to use these default fan profiles instead.
