I was actually surprised by the LED implementation here on the ASRock Z270 Extreme4. There are LEDs in the I/O cover and the audio section, as well as around the chipset cooler. These LEDs can be configured from within the BIOS, so if you don't like them, you can turn them off as soon as you power the board up.
