ASRock Z490 PG Velocita Review

Finished Looks

The ASRock Z490 PG Velocita has notes of the classic black and red aesthetic, but is largely neutral. My EVGA RTX 2080 FTW3 Ultra blends in well with the black, gray, and silver of the PG Velocita.

ASRock has been doing an excellent job of refining their RGB implementations over the last few generations. The ASRock Z490 PG Velocita is another great example. If I had one complaint, it would be the lack of diffusion on the lights that shine onto the VRM heatsink as they can overpower the other RGB zones.

G.SKILL generously provided their excellent Trident Z Neo kit. Along with the new hardware, I will be implementing a new testing standard. Moving forward, I will be testing new platforms with XMP enabled.
