Packaging
Aside from the mouse, one finds two Omron 3-pin mechanical switches (D2F-01F, Japan), a USB Type-A to USB Type-C charging cable, wireless extender, wireless dongle, tweezers, short joystick, joystick cover, logo badge, quick start guide, warranty guide, stickers, and carry pouch in the large, premium-looking box.
Weight
My scale shows around 128 g (+/- 1 g), which is ever so slightly more than the weight cited by ASUS. The Chakram X weighs 2 g more than the Chakram, which already was a very heavy mouse. As feature-rich as the Chakram X may be, undoubtedly its weight is exceedingly high.
Cable
The Chakram X comes with a paracord-like, braided charging cable (USB Type-A to USB Type-C). There is no anchor at the mouse-end of the cable, so it may come loose during use, although this is unlikely, given how tight it fits. In terms of flexibility, the cable is very similar if not identical to the charging cables of the ASUS ROG Keris Wireless or Gladius III Wireless. Accordingly, the Chakram X can be used as if it were a wired mouse with barely if any perceivable difference in terms of handling compared to an exclusively wired mouse. The cable has a measured length of 2 m.
The charging cable also functions as an extension cable if used in conjunction with the wireless extender. The wireless extender can be used to keep the distance between dongle and mouse as short as possible. A storage compartment for the wireless dongle is located under the back cover of the mouse.
Feet
The feet on the Chakram X are pure PTFE (Teflon) feet with slightly rounded edges. Glide is very good. The ring around the sensor ensures CPI stays consistent upon applying vertical pressure.
