Shape

Compared to the Gladius and Gladius II, the Gladius III Wireless has received some changes to the shape. Much like its predecessors, the Gladius III Wireless isn't just large, but also tall. The entire front, including the main buttons, sits much higher than on other right-handed ergonomic mice, leading to a fuller feel in hand. Furthermore, the left side has plenty of space for the thumb, especially since it's almost entirely straight vertically. Whereas the back flares out quite a bit towards the right side, the front has lost most of its flare, ending up much narrower than on the Gladius or Gladius II. The hump, on the other hand, is still centered and gradually slopes down towards both ends, though the front stays tall regardless. Depending on whether one grips the Gladius III Wireless more towards the front or back, grip width varies quite a bit, making the Gladius III Wireless rather flexible when it comes to hand size. Whereas the Gladius I and II were clearly identifiable as a take on the Razer DeathAdder, the Gladius III Wireless approaches a taller and fuller Zowie EC. Overall, a fairly original design that works well in practice.

As for grip styles, I'd say the Gladius III Wireless is suitable for both palm and claw grip. It's a large mouse with a fairly pronounced hump, which makes it suit larger hands. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the Gladius III Wireless very comfortable in claw grip.
