SSD Temperatures

SSD temperatures were on the whole pretty good with second places in both PCIe Gen 4 and Gen 5 temperatures. Impressively the top slot and heatsink actually provided the best temperatures for our double-sided Gen 5 SSD, which was surprising given the lower slot and typically larger heatsinks there provided the best cooling on other boards. This is just as well because while we tested the lower slot as its Gen 5 compatible, this slot does steal PCIe lanes from your graphics card. However, the single-sided Samsung 990 Pro PCIe Gen 4 SSD preferred the bottom slot, albeit by only 5°C, so for those SSDs you can take your pick.
