The ASUS ROG STRIX Z590-I Gaming WiFi features a 10-phase VRM in an 8+2 configuration.


ASUS is using an Intersil ISL69269 PWM controller to drive the ROG STRIX Z590-I Gaming WiFi.


The ASUS ROG STRIX Z590-I Gaming WiFi uses Texas Instruments 95410 power stages for the seven Vcore phases. These power stages each support a maximum of 90 A of continuous current. For the SOC phase, ASUS is using a pair of Texas Instruments 59880 power stages, which support up to 70 A of current each. When paired with the chunky VRM cooling solution, the ROG STRIX Z590-I Gaming WiFi should be a capable overclocker despite its small stature.

The ASUS ROG STRIX Z590-I Gaming WiFi has a maximum output of 860 A, with 720 A dedicated to Vcore.
