ASUS TUF M4 Wireless Review

Shape

While the M4 Wireless looks like a conventional ambidextrous design at first glance, it does several things slightly differently. For one, the back and front don't flare out much at all, which has the sides hardly curving inward. The butt is barely pronounced, either, and instead tapers off somewhat abruptly. The hump is centered, but only slopes down in a meaningful way towards the front. Coupled with the low profile overall, the M4 Wireless feels much smaller in hand than it actually is. While the lack of aggressive curves turn the M4 Wireless into a widely agreeable shape, it also means that getting a proper grip can be harder than anticipated. Overall, a very non-offensive shape that works reasonably well in practice.

As for grip styles, I'd say the M4 Wireless is mainly suited for claw and fingertip grip, with palm grip at least being possible. It is a medium-sized mouse with a barely pronounced hump, which should make it suit medium to large hands. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the M4 Wireless quite comfortable in claw grip.
