Output Noise

We used a high-quality CEM-8852 Sound DB Meter that was installed 50 cm away from the NAS to take these measurements. The ambient noise during noise measurements in our lab was below 30 dBA.



In auto mode and with the fan operating at low speed, output noise was minimal, since the fan rotated at 1030 RPM, but noise significantly increased once the fan spun up to 2860 RPM, becoming annoyingly loud with the fan at full speed, which had it spin at 4411 RPM. That said, the fan never spun up past 1030 RPM during our demanding testing sessions.
