Packaging

Aside from the mouse, one finds a quick start guide and several stickers in the box. The cable is routed around the mouse in a circular fashion to prevent it from kinking.

Weight

My scale shows around 48 g (+/- 1 g), which is exactly in line with the weight cited by Atompalm. Sitting at the upper range of medium in size, the Hydrogen is among the lightest wired mice of its class. Pentagon-shaped holes are found across the rear and bottom of the mouse. An excellent weight.

Cable

In contrast to most other mice, the cable of the Hydrogen utilizes a TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) sheath in conjunction with stranded conductors. In terms of flexibility, the cable is easily on par with the cable of the M2K, which likewise uses TPU. In order to ensure signal integrity at polling rates higher than 1000 Hz, the cable is fully shielded. Compared to the also fully shielded cables of the Razer Viper 8K or Corsair Sabre RGB Pro, the Hydrogen cable easily comes out on top. Its measured length is 1.85 m.

Feet

The feet on the Hydrogen are white-dyed pure PTFE (Teflon) feet. Glide is very good and thickness above average. The ring around the sensor ensures CPI stays consistent upon applying vertical pressure. Before using the mouse, removing the thin plastic film protecting the feet is strongly recommended.
