Out of the box, the AZZA Cast 808 is one heavy beast. One is inclined to grab it by its top cover to lift it, but that is not an option with the swing-open design, so be mindful of that. In terms of design, the chassis looks great with its extensive use of metals and rounded shapes. The gap in the side is pretty unique and makes the AZZA Cast 808 officially an open-frame case.

Looking at the front, there is a solid panel that may be pulled off to reveal framing for either two 140 or three 120 mm fans. Alternatively, you may also install a radiator of up to 360 mm in the rear; there is no panel, but the layout is essentially that of a modern ATX enclosure.

On the main side, the gap is at center height, exactly where your GPU would be. The two panels are made out of aluminium, just like the front panel, and have that same "cool blue" color to them. On the opposite side is the steel, which is in turn slightly darker. Some may be annoyed by the color difference, but subjectively speaking the two hues look really nice together.

Taking a closer look at the front, the I/O in the bottom-right corner consists of two USB 3.0, a USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-C, and two audio ports. While the blue USB ports happen to vibe with the blue enclosure, black ones would have been better for such a design-focused chassis as the AZZA Cast 808. Also, none of the ports are labeled, so your guess of which audio plug is input or output is as good as mine. The power button comes with a small embedded LED. Lastly, there is also a small, black AZZA logo on the bottom of the front panel.

In the rear, at the bottom, is the ATX PSU bay with one set of mounting holes. Above that are six horizontal expansion slots and a pre-installed bracket to convert those into three vertical ones. While having less than seven slots may seem weird for an ATX chassis, there is a good chance your motherboard actually only comes with six slots to start with, as many sacrifice the top slot for an M.2 slot, for example. In the very top is a single 120 mm fan set to push hot air out the back. it is a retail-grade AZZA Hurricane III ARGB unit in white.
