Today, we have the pleasure of reviewing the be quiet! Dark Base 700, which can be considered the smaller brother to the Dark Base Pro 900 that amazed with incredible modularity and quality. On top of that, the Dark Base 700 is the first case from the brand that includes RGB lighting, which makes this review even more interesting.

be quiet! packs the Dark Base 700 chassis into a black, fully colored package with an image of the case on the front and various, detailed snapshots on the rear. Here, you will also find the most important specifications. More in-depth specifications are found on a side panel - the other just holds the same marketing-related bulletin points in additional languages.


The Dark Base 700 itself is held in place by two thick Styrofoam spacers and protected by a heavy-duty cloth bag, which certainly makes for a nice unboxing experience!
