The unit is 80 Plus Gold compliant and its max operating temperature reaches 50°C. Also it includes all available protections and is equipped with a top quality and ultra-silent fan. Its dimensions strangely enough are quite large for its mere 550W capacity and the same applies to its weight, too. Finally its warranty is long enough at five years and the MSRP is set high, at $129.

With the default configuration the PSU has four +12V rails which can deliver almost its full power. However if you utilize the overclocking feature you can combine all +12V rails into a single rail. The minor rails can deliver 110W, a sufficienct power level for today's standards and finally the 5VSB rail is quite strong, for the category of the unit.

The PSU has an amazing amount of cables/connectors considering its small capacity. Five PCIe connectors, two pairs for VGAs and one for motherboard connection and three EPS connectors can be used at the same time, on paper at least, since the capacity sets the limit here. Also there are in total nine SATA connectors and six Molex ones along with four fan connectors. We have seen PSUs with far higher capacity featuring less connectors! Finally there is one more cable which feeds the overclocking key PCB. All cables are nicely sleeved and their length is ideal. Also the distance among all connectors is the recommended one, by ATX spec.
Regarding gauge size all connectors use 18AWG wires which are suitable for a PSU of this category/power.
