be quiet!'s new Shadow Rock LP CPU cooler comes in a fairly attractive box that measures in at roughly 17 cm in length, 16 cm in width, and 14 cm in height. Starting with the top of the box, you will find the product name, corporate slogan, and the Shadow Rock LP's TDP. Moving to the front, we see a full image of the cooler and a few features, such as the Pure Wings 2 fan and its low profile design. The left side has a few paragraphs that detail the cooler in various languages.


The back of the box has all the technical information on be quiet!'s low profile cooler; socket support, features, and technical specifications. The right side, similar to the left, comes with a paragraph talking about the Shadow Rock LP in various languages.

Upon opening the box, users will be greeted by a couple cardboard boxes that hold the fan and mounting hardware. Underneath that is a single piece of foam that protects the heatsink, also situated on cardboard to hold it in place. With empty space on all sides for protection, the box offers solid protection for the product situated inside.


be quiet!'s Shadow Rock LP comes with all the bits and pieces you will need to install it into your system. The heatsink and fan are of excellent quality, but you will notice that other than the bare necessities, the kit is lacking in extras. The lack of extras is no surprise, but that doesn't mean I am happy about it. With a $49.99 MSRP, I expected a little something, even a case badge as useless as they are would have been a nice touch. Regardless of whether extras are included or not, everything you will need has been provided.
