Bitspower Premium Summit M CPU Block Review

Liquid Flow Restriction

I use a Swiftech MCP50X pump with a FrozenQ 400mL cylindrical reservoir. The pump is powered through a direct SATA connection to an EVGA 1300G2 PSU and controlled by an Aquacomputer Aquaero 6 XT. There is a previously calibrated in-line flow meter and Dwyer 490 Series 1 wet-wet manometer to measure the pressure drop of the component being tested. Every component is connected to the manometer by the way of 1/2" x 3/4" tubing, compression fittings, and two T-fittings.

This is the first of several CPU block reviews with my new thermal test setup, which is also why you are seeing fewer blocks here than in the previous review. I chose recently released blocks I had, as well as a representative each for Aqua Computer, Watercool, and XSPC. As and when more CPU blocks are reviewed, the new database will be added to accordingly. We went over the various factors that contribute to the liquid flow restriction of a CPU water block and how things end up potentially lower or higher on the Bitspower Premium Summit M. As it turns out, the combination of all those factors leads to its placement in the middle of the table, though slightly higher than average at this time.
