CHERRY XTRFY M64 Pro Review

Shape

The M64 Pro has a novel and largely unique shape, incorporating several design elements from previous Xtrfy mice such as the M4 and M8 Wireless. The way the left side flares out at the rear, coupled with a slim front, are clearly identifiable as traits familiar from the M4 Wireless, whereas the incredibly low front has been borrowed from the M8 Wireless. Shared with neither the M4 nor M8 Wireless is the strongly pronounced hump in the middle, which steeply slopes down towards both ends. Much like on the M4 Wireless, however, the left side isn't raised much compared to the right side. Unlike on either the M4 or M8 Wireless, the main buttons are now framed by ledges, though they still retain moderately deep comfort grooves. In addition, the main button pieces have been elongated to account for most hand sizes. Overall, the M64 Pro is an unusual design that may require some getting used to, though users of the M4 Wireless in particular should feel at home.

As for grip styles, I'd say the M64 Pro mostly suits palm and claw grip. It is a medium-sized mouse with a strongly pronounced hump, which should make it generally suit medium-size to large hands. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the M64 Pro comfortable in claw grip.
