A Closer Look - Inside
To gain access to the case, simply unscrew four black screws on the top. Interestingly enough, the cover popped out right away. Looks like there are two spring loaded bolts, which press the cover upward once it has been released. This makes removal of the top very easy. The panel is also lined with thin foam to eliminate any vibrations. While it is very thin, it also does the job perfectly fine. The inside of the case has been kept simple, which is certainly postive. This makes installation in such an unusual case as painless as possible - hopefully.
The left area toward the front is taken by the card reader/front I/O PCB and the internal 3.5/external 5.25 inch bay. Next to that is a hard drive cage, which can hold three additional drives. This makes for a total of four hard drives, which should be more than enough space.
The expansion slots are covered by separate covers, which are held in place by screws. Next to which are the two fans, which both have a mainboard header and Molex connector. So you may use whatever connectivity you prefer. The PSU bay reveals one more feature when looked at from the inside. There are rubber stand-offs, which eliminate any vibration from the power supply.
