If you want a somewhat stealthy cost-effective cooler, then the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Halo Black certainly fits when leaving the ARGB lighting off. The fan blades add some contrast, but otherwise, the all-black design means the cooler will blend in quite nicely with the rest of the build. I also am a fan of Cooler Master's decision to simplify their logo on the top cover and the fan sticker. The shape tells you it is a CM product but without any extra fluff to detract from the cooler's appearance, something I wish more brands considered.
Memory clearance was perfect on both test systems. The same goes for the GPU as well with no problems to report. As for case clearance, as long as your chassis can handle coolers with a height of 154 mm or more, you should have no problems to speak of in that regard, either.
When it comes to ARGB some love it and others hate it, but when it comes to the Hyper 212 Halo Black, I have no real complaints regarding the overall setup. Due to the inclusion of LEDs in both the fan hub and frame, the lighting, in general, is very uniform and bright, allowing the cooler to be a focal point in any system. However, should you dislike the lighting, leaving it off results in a somewhat stealthy cooler with the white diffusers adding a tiny bit of contrast along with the fan blades, which in a complete build will still end up blending in with the various other components in the system.
