Software

I have to repeat myself again because the MM530 uses the same software as the MM520. It's pretty much one of the best mouse drivers I have seen so far. It is lightweight, only eating up 0.9 MB of memory in the background, but needs around 91 MB of disk space. There are lots of options to choose from; you can set the CPI, polling rate, LOD, and key assignments—all keys can be remapped, even the main buttons. The TactiX option can also really come in handy if you run out of buttons. You can create all different kinds of macros, adjust profiles, and play with the lighting as well.

Lighting

As you can see, there are a lot of options here, from static lighting to color cycle or stars to breathing. Well, I definitely could not breathe for a moment when I saw the number of possibilities! Multilayer mode is just insane as you can, for instance, give a breathing effect to the scroll wheel, a color cycle to the logo on the back, and simple static lighting to the CPI changers. I always say I am not a huge fan of RGB, but when it comes with a reasonably priced mouse, why not? I know it can be a defining factor nowadays, and if you are looking for a well-customizable mouse, well, this one surely is.

Unfortunately, these pictures don't really resemble reality, but trust me, it really does look cool.
