The Corsair HS75 XB Wireless is an officially licensed Xbox gaming headset and as such pairs best with Xbox consoles. Connectivity-wise, the only other option a PC, but that's only possible with the addition of the Xbox Wireless Adapter, which is sold separately. Let's get one thing out of the way: If you're looking for a wireless gaming headset for your PC, skip this one. You'll be better off splurging for the excellent Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless (reviewed here), or can save around $50 and grab the Corsair HS70 Wireless (reviewed here), which offers nearly identical build quality, wearing comfort, and sound performance, and only a slightly worse microphone, and it's bundled with a wireless USB dongle.

Having said that, if you're after a great gaming headset for your Xbox console, the Corsair HS75 XB Wireless has plenty to offer. Build quality is excellent—it looks and feels even more expensive than it is. Carefully picked materials and smart weight distribution make it comfortable even when worn for many hours on end. Bass-heads and gamers will love its warm, energetic, bassy sound signature, and its microphone behaves admirably as well; your friends will hear you with ease. There's a useful game-chat mix dial that lets you balance the sound volume between the game you're playing and the voices of your friends. This feature gives you an intuitive way to quickly make your friends louder should you find yourself in a situation where the game becomes so loud you have trouble hearing them.

The built-in battery lasts for over 20 hours. In case it runs out, you can use the provided USB-C cable to charge the headset while using it. Unfortunately, there's no way to connect it to your console or PC through a wire. This also means connecting it to a mobile device isn't possible. If you're looking for a gaming headset with different connectivity options, the HS75 XB Wireless definitely isn't it.

Finally, Corsair licensed the HS75 XB Wireless for Dolby Atmos, which means you can use the most impressive surround sound solution on the market at no additional cost. In supported games, Dolby Atmos sounds magnificent—this is undoubtedly the future of surround sound.

To conclude, if you're looking for a gaming headset for your Xbox, this could very well be the one. If PC is your gaming platform of choice, look elsewhere.
