Aesthetics, comfort, and the price play a major role when people decide which office or gaming chair they will purchase next. Corsair decided to first bring to market an affordable gaming chair in an attempt to make it an attractive option and managed to keep its price tag at $350, which is a fair amount for this product. By using affordable materials like PU leather and plastic, the chair's overall weight is also kept low without having to give up any structural integrity since steel is still used in those areas that need to be sturdy. This chair can handle users with a weight of up to 120 kg, so you will unfortunately have to look at other options if you are above that mark.

The armrests' texture resembles that of carbon fiber, which makes quite the impression, especially in combination with the vivid black and yellow colors, let alone the impeccable yellow stitching and diamond pattern. If you don't like our sample's yellow color, there are four other different colors to choose from: black, blue, red, or white. We should stress, however, that a different color scheme only means the stripes and triangles on the base will bare it. Lastly, all variations of the T1 RACE cost exactly the same, which makes going with a specific color no more than a matter of personal preference.

Even so, there were downsides we spotted since no product is perfect. For starters, the T1 RACE gaming chair only has a two-year warranty. We also spotted minor flaws on the plastic edges and with the right back-mount cover that popped up occasionally. The 120 kg this chair can hold could be considered a drawback as well. We should also mention that we found the chair's wheels to be really smooth, but easy to get rolling at times.

When it comes to gaming, a comfortable and ergonomic chair is the one users will choose from among a bunch of others. An ergonomically designed chair can alleviate back and lumbar pains that already exist. We wouldn't want to unexpectedly cut short our gaming session because of sudden neck pains or hand muscle spasms.

There is something that irks us, though. The T1 Race gaming chair's design reminds us of a bunch of other gaming chairs that were all inspired by the seats found in racing cars. A gamer needs to be agile and accurate, but the idea of sitting in chairs inspired by seats in racing cars has been leaving us with a blasé feeling as of late.

Judging and drawing everyone's attention to a chair's faults is easy, but also bringing an idea to the table is an entirely different story. We would thus like to bring just such an idea to the table by talking about material- and design-specific choices. Many manufactures who build sleeping mattresses that truly facilitate how we sleep positively use the term "anti-gravity machine" to describe a mattress that helps our spine maintain its natural shape when we sleep. Such technology could, for instance, also be implemented into gaming chairs. A chair fabricated completely out of mesh does seems to be the perfect choice thus since such a material can stretch, is resilient, breathable, and capable of taking on almost any body type's shape. However, when dealing with a Polyurethane foam (cold foam) chair, things are quite different, which is why our Ergohuman chair, which almost exclusively uses mesh, is still our preferred pick, and we have tried many other high-quality chairs thus far.

Let us now talk about the design, especially in the gaming space. Designers could also use spacecraft-themed designs for chairs since nearly half the games nowadays somehow involve space. A shape like this one with the addition of wheels could be rather intriguing, or how about a simple, but really clean design like this, as it would allow for many hours of comfortable gaming. Finally, a good chair with extras is always greatly appreciated also. So why not add heating options similar to those in luxury cars? Those are just our ideas since we are kind of tired of seeing the same exact design from most brands.
