I redid all of my performance testing again, as I'm now starting to build up a fairly large collection of single-sided 4 GB performance DIMMs. I noticed a few interesting things while playing with all of the modules, including the differences between using two and four sticks at 1600 MHz. The results include numbers for both installation configurations, using similar timings. I have also included my high-speed 2933 MHz G.Skill TridentX DIMMs numbers from an earlier review and the JEDEC profile of those sticks. There are well over 200 different results in the following 23 performance metrics from 16 different benchmarks. The different workloads cover most uses users will encounter, yet I have specifically chosen benchmarks that are sensitive to performance differences. Numbers from the XMP profile of the tested sticks are included below. The Crucial Ballistix Sport VLP sticks are the first dual-sided kit I've used in recent months, and are in the numbers below. When it comes to overclocking these sticks, the overclocked performance numbers were, frankly, not worth including, so I've omitted them from the graphs below. If you'd like to see the overclocked result of a specific benchmark, I'd be more than happy to post the screenshot of that benchmark in our comments section of this review.
