Installation

Installing the M9i is quite simple. First, prepare the backplate with the backplate screws, before placing it on the motherboard properly.


Now, position the mounting arms onto these backplate screws to secure them with the thumbscrew caps. With the mounting arms in place, apply some thermal paste in preparation for the next step.


Attach the heatsink to the motherboard by tightening the screws on the crossbar into the holes on both mounting arms. This will hold the heatsink in place securely. Now, attach the fan and plug it into the CPU fan header. That's it, you are all done.
