A Closer Look - Inside

To access the insides, simply pull the two panels off. The Gamer Storm Macube 310P comes equipped with a metal shroud that covers the PSU as well as 3.5" drives. There are two openings to allow for the motherboard cable to be routed nicely, but otherwise, this space remains unused. On the opposite side, you will notice the large cutout for the CPU cooling area and several grommet-covered openings for clean cable management.

A small surprise in form of a PCB to allow for additional fans to be connected to a single motherboard header can be found on the top edge, so you can take advantage of liquid cooling setups with ease without worrying about how to control and power them. Deepcool also includes several Velcro strips for easy cable management, which will come in handy for those who like to tinker with their system.

There is a solid part towards the front of the chassis which may be used to install a single 3.5" drive behind the motherboard tray. This is great, but there is no reason for skipping additional holes for 2.5" drives as well. However, that may be due to the fact that the Macube 310P already comes with two metal trays underneath the CPU cooler opening of the motherboard tray.

Last but not least are two metal trays underneath the shroud, which bring the total number of possible storage devices to a very solid five within the case. Deepcool has also included a metal GPU support bracket, which, albeit simple, is actually quite effective as we will see later on.

The PSU bay in the rear has four small foam spacers to separate the unit from the metal chassis. Above that, the seven expansion slots come with standard screws you can access through the exterior of the enclosure. In the very top, the aforementioned fan can be found. It is Deepcool branded, making it the only elements within the case to let you know that the Gamer Storm brand is actually from Deepcool.

As there are no additional fans in the ceiling, the Macube 310P ships with a single 120 mm fan out of the box. While this is generally fine, some may have liked to see a second one for good measure.
