Installation
To install the Captain 240 PRO, I first secured the backplate to the motherboard with the provided backplate screws and pillars.
Next, I set and secured the mounting brackets to the pillars and applied some thermal paste. With that done, just slide the pump into place and secure it on to the mounting brackets.
At this point, I mounted the radiator and then installed fans. Now, it's just a matter of connecting the wiring as shown in the manual before it's good to go.
I would rate the Captain 240 PRO's installation a 9 on a scale of 1 (hardest) to 10 (easiest). Overall installation is very straightforward, but the excess wiring, hubs, and extras mean there is a bit of a mess to hide behind the motherboard tray.
