Packaging

The Deepcool Gamer Storm Genome ships in a fully colored box, which is quite the unusual sight these days as most manufacturers tend to go for simpler boxes. On the front are the different versions of the chassis, and the rear focuses on its unique feature - the built-in reservoir in front.

You will find additional information about the chassis on its sides, as well as a bit on which color variant is within. Carrying holes make lugging it home from the post office easy.

The Genome is held in place by thick foam spacers, which, unlike those made out of Styrofoam, have the added benefit of withstanding more than a single impact. A plastic bag has been placed over the chassis to keep fingerprints during packaging away.

Deepcool includes a Velcro strip, some zip ties, and all-black screws. A manual to help those who need it during assembly has also been included.

The chassis comes with a Deepcool Captain 360 liquid-cooling unit pre-installed right out of the box. This means that you will also find a mounting kit for both Intel and AMD sockets, a fan controller to feed the three fans with one signal, and a manual specifically for the cooler's assembly. The latter clocking in at around 150 euros in retail, the Genome's price tag makes sense - especially as you are essentially getting an extra reservoir in the front.
