A Closer Look

The radiator is pretty much the same as most 360 mm all-in-one liquid coolers, in that it is an aluminium core design measuring 27 mm thick. In regards to FPI (fins-per-inch), I measured 24, making the LS720's radiator somewhat denser than the majority of its competitors. The fittings are black, and the tubing has a black mesh sleeving, which is also nearly industry-standard. Unlike other liquid coolers, the LS720 features DeepCool's Anti-Leak technology, which is a fancy term for pressure regulation within the unit. Tubing length comes in at 410 mm.

Compared to the round pump designs of yesteryear, DeepCool's LS720 opts for a more square design this time around. The mirror-like finish isn't a new feature, but it does make for a nice visual focal point. On top of that, the center cap can be rotated or removed, with DeepCool providing a clear cap for end-user customization. The wiring for the unit exits the pump housing near the tubing, and did not cause any conflicts with the swivel range of fittings. That said, the wiring setup is somewhat proprietary, for both the fans and the pump, as it uses a non-standard connector allowing them all to be piggybacked, helping keep the wiring a bit cleaner. As for the coldplate, it was smooth to the touch with a slightly convex shape and barely visible machining marks. That said, the overall finish is more refined than I typically see, which is a nice touch.

The PWM ARGB fans, model # DF1202512CM, have an RPM range of 500–2250 and a maximum CFM of 85.85. They feature a fluid dynamic bearing, and are from DeepCool's FC120 family of fans. It should be noted these fans feature a custom RPM profile compared to their retail offerings.
