Computer Case

NZXT Source S340 - $73
Cases are the most subjective part of your build. We chose the Source S340 for its excellent interior space, cable-management features, and a general layout that's firmly in the post-disc era. We particularly love how NZXT partitioned the motherboard tray from the bottom PSU area, where you can hide all your cable spaghetti without it showing through its large window. The S340 is available in a variety of colors; the one pictured here is matte black and has some red highlights.

Monitor

ASUS ROG Swift PG278Q
This is the centerpiece of our build, and widely regarded as the best PC monitor you can buy right now, in any category. The ROG Swift boasts of image quality that easily rivals slower IPS displays, with 1440p resolution, a 144 Hz refresh-rate and 1 ms response time, a host of gamer-specific features, and adaptive-sync. The PG278Q supports NVIDIA G-SYNC, and it's quite something. Even when your GPU can't put out 120 frames per second, technologies like G-SYNC offer smooth display output that gives you the impression of much higher frame-rates.

Peripherals

Logitech G710 Keyboard - $119
The Logitech G710 is among the best value for money when it comes to mechanical keyboard at its given price point. Most premium mechanical keyboards are now pulling $150-ish price tags. It doesn't go overboard with its design, has just the right amount of keys in just the right places, and best of all, uses Cherry MX switches (Blue and Brown switches are also available) instead of something proprietary to Logitech. Its dual-zone backlighting feature lets you highlight select keys while toning down lighting on others, and its electronics provide a 26-key rollover.

SteelSeries Sensei RAW mouse - $59
The Sensei RAW is the best mouse SteelSeries ever made, featuring great precision thanks to its laser sensor, great claw-grip, and just the right amount of tactile feedback on its buttons.

SteelSeries Siberia RAW headset - $59
Another great product from the legends of comfortable headsets, the Siberia RAW offers balanced tuning that's optimized for gaming, but doesn't sound too bad with music and movies. The breathable fabric cushioning for its around-the-ear cans is made from a sportswear-like fabric that makes sure extended gaming sessions don't bake your ears.
