A need can be described as one of several essential guidelines for a safe, stable, and healthy life. On the other hand, a want is a desire, an ambition to achieve something, like a goal. This is what drives people to create music, go to space, or simply purchase something that would make their daily life easier or nicer. As such, a need is essential while a want is created by something we believe we need. Needs and wants are a matter of whether there is a vested interest in something. Since almost everything revolves around information and knowledge, with all of this information mostly being passed on over the web, companies are mostly trying to create products that will help us receive the data in question in the easiest and fastest possible way.

Sometime ago, we got our hands on a robotic arm from a company named Dobot. It was a unique experience and something we certainly did not think of as a possibility ourselves. Dobot (also know as the Shenzhen Yuejiang Technology Co. Ltd) was established by five robotics engineers in July 2015 and is currently a major robotic arm solutions provider in Shenzhen, China. Since the company's technology results in high-precision robots, the founders of the company decided to expand into other categories with a more lucrative product. They thus constructed a handheld gimbal with the same technology they already had at their disposal, its goal being to offer one the ability to take very smooth and precise pictures and videos.

Dobot's gimbal is named Rigiet and has three precision motors that control an equal number of different movements (pitch, roll, and yaw). The Rigiet promises better shooting quality and software than pre-existing competitors. Dobot's gimbal costs $269, is compatible with smartphones, GoPros, and YI cameras; it features 3 advanced stabilizer motors, which promises to make your footage ultra stable and more professional-looking.
