Packaging

Along with the mouse itself, one finds a quick start guide and set of replacement mouse feet in the box. The mouse sits safely in a plastic tray.

Weight

My scale shows around 98 g (+/- 1 g) with a bit of cable, which is roughly the same weight as a Logitech G403 with its weight installed. Dream Machines cites a weight of 97 g without the cable, which appears accurate given this result. While hardly amazing, it's still acceptable. Weight balance is decent, which is why the mouse doesn't really feel heavy.

Cable

The DM4 Evo features the same cable as Dream Machines' previous releases, the DM1 FPS and DM5 Blink. It's a very good cable with above average flexibility. The length is 1.75 m (measured). The cable has a ferrite bead attached to it, which helps reduce noise, as well as a gold-plated USB connector.

Feet

The feet on the DM4 Evo are standard black-dyed PTFE (Teflon) feet. They glide well. There are two small feet at the front and a big one at the back, along with a sensor ring to ensure CPI stays consistent when vertical pressure is applied. Dream Machines includes a set of replacement feet in the box, which is quite nice because the DM4 Evo feet are uniquely shaped.
