The shape of the DM6 Holey Duo is rather atypical. It's no doubt a large mouse, but doesn't really feel large in hand. A variation of the classic Zowie EC shape, the DM6 Holey Duo doesn't flare out as much at the front and back, and although the left side is raised, it doesn't end up as tall as an EC1 or Glorious Model D. On the other hand, it is as long as an EC1, and the inward curve on the left side and centered hump are present all the same. In short, this shape is perfect for those wanting a long right-handed ergonomic mouse whose width stays the same almost across its entire length. The honeycomb structure extends across the entire bottom, sides, and top save for the front portion of the main buttons, and the honeycombs are reasonably sized and shaped, so I wasn't irritated by them during use.
As for grip styles, I'd say the DM6 Holey Duo is mostly suited for palm and claw grip. It's a large mouse with a moderately pronounced hump, which should make it suitable for most hand sizes. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the DM6 Holey Duo very comfortable in claw grip.
