USB Performance

USB 3.0

Since the EM7280 utilizes a USB 3.0 interface to allow for files to be moved from or two the unit with a PC on the other end. Thanks to the updated interface, transfer speeds are identical to a unit connected directly to the computers SATA port.


ATTO delivers the same results with both read and write well over 100 MB/s

USB 2.0

When connected to a USB 2.0 port, the EM7280 maxes out at just under 29 MB/s write and around 35 MB/s read speed. While this my not place the unit in a good position on our lengthy performance graphic, the differences are small, so that you should not really feel the slower speed






ATTO delivers adequate results in terms of write speed, but also displays the fastest performance which is possible in terms of read speed.
