Endgame Gear is a peripherals company based in Germany. The main difference between the XM2we and OP1we is the shape. Originally conceived as an "XM1 Mini" with slight modifications, the OP1we over time has blossomed into its own thing, with only a few key design elements of the XM1 being retained. The OP1we is only a bit shorter than the XM2we, but much narrower, the back does not flare out as much and the sides do not curve in as much, although the hump curvature of the XM2we is still present. In terms of internals, PixArt's PAW3370 sensor capable of 19,000 CPI along with a CompX CX52850 MCU is used once again, coupled with Kailh GO optical switches rated for 80 million clicks for the main buttons, ensuring no double-clicking due to wear and tear over time. For those wanting lighter clicks, Endgame Gear also offers a replacement switch pack including the same switches with an operating force range of 60-65 gf for separate purchase. Installing these is possible without soldering or removing the feet, as the mod-friendly design of the OP1we has the screws on the bottom exposed. By default, the OP1we comes with a set of smaller pure PTFE feet, but a larger set may be installed as well, and too is available for separate purchase. Due to being smaller than the XM2we, at 58 g the OP1we ends up accordingly lighter, and does so without utilizing holes for weight reduction. Configuration is done within the software, which has all the usual options. The OP1we is available in black or white.
