Enermax recently rolled out a new series, the Revolution X't. Belonging to their "Ahead of the Game" range of products, it mostly addresses gaming stations with strong VGAs and processors. According to them, "Ahead of the Game" covers different PC areas, and the models of their new series even allow for gameplay at the highest level since a power supply is decisive in how stable a PC runs. Well, there is no arguing that, but we should remind you that a PSU won't increase your gaming score, though a stable system is indeed crucial for every gamer out there.

The new Revolution X't series consists of four models with capacities of 430 W, 530 W, 630 W, and 730 W. Today, we will take a thorough look at the second-strongest model of the series—its model number is ERX630AWT. This unit, like the others, is 80 Plus Gold certified, has a semi-modular cabling design, features a single +12V rail, and uses a 139 mm fan with the patented Twister Bearing technology which ensures efficient and silent cooling along with longevity. The ERX630AWT is equipped with four PCIe connectors, so it can support up to two VGAs with double PCIe sockets, each, and its DC-DC converters for the generation of the minor rails (5V and 3.3V) ensure Haswell compatibility. Another interesting characteristic of this unit is the HeatGuard feature. It keeps the PSU up and running for 30-60 seconds after shutdown, which helps in dissipating residual system heat, a measure to increase the PSU’s lifetime. The unit's small dimensions will ensure it is easy to install while making it compatible with even very small cases that have undersized PSU compartments.
