Circuit Board (PCB) Analysis
EVGA is using a 4-phase VRM to power the GPU, controlled by an On Semi NCP81611 controller.
The memory VRM is 2-phase and managed by a UPI uP1666Q controller.
The GDDR6 memory chips are made by Samsung and carry the model number K4Z80325BC-HC14. They are specified to run at 1750 MHz (14 Gbps GDDR6 effective).
Very interesting! EVGA is using NVIDIA's TU104 graphics processor on the RTX 2060 KO. Normally, the RTX 2060 and RTX 2060 Super use the TU106 GPU; here, the same TU104 as on the RTX 2070 Super and RTX 2080 is used. It is NVIDIA's second-largest chip using the Turing architecture, produced on a 12 nm process at TSMC, Taiwan. Transistor count is 13.6 billion on a die size of 545 mm².
