We will go more hands on with the driver, assembled looks, and audio performance in the review, but wanted to let you know that the driver is available for download from the product page, and it has good control on sound and lighting alike. EVGA told us, and I quote here, "in the coming weeks, there will be more features and functionality coming to the driver, including improved Virtual Surround support (Today, it is supported in games that have support and also through Windows Sonic), EQ Presets and more."

I will note that this is not the final review of the product on TechPowerUp, but also want to touch on my experience listening to audio from the EVGA NU at their CES suite. It was most definitely in a controlled environment with multiple demos involving a speaker output, a headphones output, and a comparison demo using an unnamed competitor's audio card. The EVGA NU delivered great music, especially coupled with high quality FLAC and DSD files. There are some music samples on the product page linked above, which is a must to really be able to distinguish audio output quality when comparing devices.

The EVGA NU Audio card is their first audio card, and effectively will make or break it for a subsequent family of audio solutions from the company. Time will tell how it fares, but it did enough for me personally to get me more than interested. I am as curious as you, undoubtedly, to see what Inle, our audio editor, has to say about it as well. Until then, know that the EVGA NU audio card is available for purchase as of the time of this article for $249.99, and it drops down to $199.99 if you have an EVGA Elite membership (free for those who register with another EVGA product).
