The Nascita is incredibly comfortable to hold once you get it on the mat. It is definitely one of the most comfortable mice out there for people with large hands. Our go-to mouse for comfort has always been the Mionix Naos and the Nascita actually does an equally good job with a slightly less forced grip, which is nice. The Nascita's shape is definitely tuned correctly, but the material selection is holding it back somewhat as there are no grippy zones on the mouse. The lack of rubberized sections makes it a bit too slippery in my opinion, but your mileage may vary here.
Gaming performance is, as excepted of such an expensive mouse, topnotch, and the Avago sensor performs well. All button mechanisms are up to the job as their feedback is great, and the side buttons are placed just right. The LCD display on top is a bit of a gimmick, and the light it emits can be somewhat annoying. Since the mouse also has two LEDs at the front illuminating the surface, it is a bit of a light show at times.
The scroll wheel functions well, but its tactile feedback is a little low if you are moving to this mouse from an old school gaming mouse. The feel of the wheel is great and has roughly the same amount of tactile feedback as that of the NAOS 8200.
The lift-off distance is very low, just like the Mionix mice with their LOD set to the next lowest setting, which is really what you need to secure consistent tracking on the majority of gaming surfaces out there.
