Packaging

The Fnatic Gear Clutch 2 arrives in the same style of box as the Flick 2. It's a thick, heavy box with a black, white, and orange color scheme. It has the usual technical specifications, some render pictures, and a picture of a professional League of Legends player called Rekkles printed on, as well as some marketing text—some of which is pretty cheeky, but pretty much true. Once opened, you can access your mouse, as well as a quick start guide and some stickers which are inside another small package in the box. No extra mouse feet again, which is a pity, but more on that later, under its own section.

Shape

As I've mentioned before, the Fnatic Flick 2 and Clutch 2 are basically the same except for their shell. While the Flick 2 has an ambidextrous design, the Clutch 2 is obviously a right-handed ergonomic model. This one is a big mouse too, just like the Flick. The left side has some rather deep grooves to help maintain a stable grip even when picking up the mouse. The right side is different, but has some inward molding at its front too. Both main buttons feature slightly defined comfort grooves as well.

The back of the mouse is narrower than the front because the latter flares out quite a bit, while the back remains quite straight compared to the sides. This results in a rather interesting, but comfortable (this is intuitive of course) shape. Many ergonomic mice have very wide back areas, which people with different preferences might find uncomfortable. The Clutch 2 might be the solution for these people.

Moving on to the measurements, the Clutch 2 is around 131 mm (5.16") long, which makes it a long mouse. It is 66.2 mm (2.61") wide at its widest point, but the actual width at which it is gripped is narrower, being only about 59 mm (2.32"). It is about 43 mm (1.69") tall at the tallest point, and the hump is centered. In my opinion, the mouse is best-suited for palm grippers with hands bigger than 18 cm (7"), but this is entirely up to personal preference.
