Packaging

The Fractal Design S2 Vision RGB comes packaged in a brown cardboard box with an outline of the chassis on front. The rear lists the features alongside a blow-up diagram of the enclosure. You will find a list of specifications on one side; the other just holds another view of the case itself.


The case comes sandwiched between two thick Styrofoam spacers. While Fractal Design also placed a large foam layer on the side with the glass panel to protect the R6 during shipping, there is no such additional layer of protection for this chassis. However, a plastic bag has been a put over the S2 Vision to keep fingerprints and scratches away.

Fractal includes a large, thin box which does not only hold their usual extensive set of screws, but also a vented panel and fan/radiator mounting plate for the S2 Vision.


You will receive an assorted set of black screws, some zip ties, and a cleaning cloth with the chassis. On top of that, you will find a reservoir-mounting kit and SATA power extension cable. Fractal has also included a fully featured in-line RGB controller for the fans and LED strip that are pre-installed. A very detailed manual is also part of this accessories kit. It will come in quite handy when it comes to making the most of the case's features.
