Packaging

The FSP T-Wings CMT710 ships in a huge, colorful box with an image of the enclosure on both larger sides and specifications and additional marketing points on the smaller panels. Carrying holes allow you to lug this monstrosity home.

As soon as you open the box, you are greeted by thick, cardboard-reinforced foam pieces holding the case in place. On top are the separately placed 4 mm glass side panels and a basic start guide to the T-Wings CMT710. Instead of providing a full manual, you are told to download a digital version. While that is fine, I was looking forward to the uncompromising unboxing experience of having everything, no matter how inefficient it may seem. The chassis itself is essentially fully assembled with the exception of the glass panels and comes in a black cloth bag for added protection.

Contents

You will receive a bag of screws, some zip ties, and mounting hardware, as well as the aforementioned quick start guide. Interestingly enough, the screws in our sample were pretty dirty with some sort of manufacturing residue all over them so I wiped them down with a disinfectant cloth and put them in a new bag for this picture.
