Installation

The cooler comes with the fans pre-installed which is a nice touch. However, before you go any further make sure the cabling for the fans is where you need it to be. By default, it's located at the top near the tubing. Therefore, if you need it at the bottom you will want to swap the fans around now. With the fans sorted you now need to attach the necessary brackets to mount the pump. Since I am using AMD's Socket AM5 I installed them with the four mounting bracket screws. With that taken care of, it's now time to remove the black plastic AMD motherboard brackets.

Now install the AMD standoffs into the AMD motherboard backplate and follow that up by applying your thermal paste, in this case I used Arctic MX-6. With everything ready slide the pump onto the CPU and secure it with the four nuts, alternating between them with even pressure.

With the pump installed all that remains is to mount the radiator to the chassis and connect the wiring. Remember if you want motherboard ARGB control over the built-in effects you need to hold the button for three seconds, and you can switch back by doing it again at any time.

Overall, the installation is pretty straightforward on AMD and Intel, with no major hurdles or headache-inducing design choices.
