GIGABYTE has, despite the recent focus of gaming brands on mechanical keyboards, gone ahead and launched one with low-profile, low-actuation keys. It does have a few advantages as a membrane keyboard, with the main one being its lower noise level while typing. GIGABYTE is using a scissor mechanism with a better membrane than that of cheap membrane keyboards, and getting a solid membrane keyboard could actually be a good option for those who do not like the feel of mechanical switches.
